Super affiliates.Who are they?

Technically speaking a super affiliate is someone who generates a significant amount of profits for the products or services they represent. They can make a healthy living from their affiliate business alone while an average affiliate may need to supplement their affiliate income with, gasp…a 9-5 job!

They are marketers who have sound work ethics, systematic, and thorough. They regularly publish content because providing quality content that pre-sells any product has proven time and again to be the best sales tool available to affiliate marketers.

They know who they’re marketing to before they start promoting a product. They study their target market, where they come from, what motivates them to click through and what information they read and respond to, and then give them what they need.

They evaluate their advertising options carefully. They test and track how well products convert for them. It can be very tempting to want to promote a few different unrelated products, but good affiliates know this isn’t smart. By choosing a select number of related products they can review and test, they are more able to effectively communicate the benefits of those products.

They put in the time, energy and capital upfront to build the business and have patience and persistence to see it through. Super affiliates take time to not only carefully study their prospective customers but they also take the time to write promotional materials, free reports, articles, press releases, blog posts, and anything else that could help their business.

  • They learn to write brilliant copy that pre-sells. Pre-selling means your content, whether it is a review, article, tutorial, course, or blog post, speaks honestly about the products and services you promote. Pre-selling is about providing value to your website visitors and prospects, making them comfortable with your authority to generate interest and a click through to the company website, where the selling happens.
  • They focus on building a massive mailing list that they'll follow up on. By communicating with members of the mailing list on a regular basis, they create familiarity, trust, and confidence in their customers.

Savvy super affiliates know this is a must. Avoid hype at all costs. People can smell hype a mile away. People buy from people they like and trust. The best way to do this is by providing honest product reviews and information to your customers. Once they builds up their reputation, they know the key to keeping that reputation is also never to promote products they haven’t tested themselves or at least are very familiar with. Trust and credibility is very important to them.

In summary, these marketers are willing to work hard (and smart) to find the best products to promote, they know their target market and they put in the time and effort to communicate effectively with them. To become a super affiliate you’ll need to build a website which speaks directly to the market you are trying to attract and you’ll need to understand the needs of that specific market.
